Marco holds a degree in Kinesiology from Virginia Tech and has competed in USAPL powerlifting for over a decade, earning multiple state-level podium finishes. He designed McLean RSVP Fitness's core barbell programming and coaches athletes ranging from first-time lifters to competitive powerlifters preparing for sanctioned meets.
Dana brings twelve years of group fitness and functional conditioning experience to McLean RSVP Fitness. A former collegiate sprinter at George Mason University, she now specializes in metabolic conditioning programs that build work capacity without sacrificing strength. Her classes consistently draw the largest attendance in the weekly schedule.
Sofia is a licensed physical therapy assistant and certified personal trainer who leads McLean RSVP Fitness's mobility and recovery programming. Her sessions bridge the gap between training and long-term athletic health, addressing the movement restrictions and tissue quality issues that limit performance for most strength athletes over time.

I have trained at a lot of gyms around Northern Virginia over the past ten years. McLean RSVP Fitness has the most complete powerlifting floor I have found in the DC area, and Coach Torres actually understands how to program for a meet cycle. Renewed my Full Access membership for the second year in a row.
Dana's 7 AM kettlebell class is the reason I am at the gym three mornings a week. She adjusts the difficulty for every level in the room without making anyone feel out of place. I started on the Foundation plan and upgraded to Full Access within six weeks because I wanted to come more often.
Sofia's mobility sessions have done more for my squat depth in two months than two years of rolling around on a foam roller on my own. She identified a hip flexor restriction in my first session and gave me a specific corrective sequence. The staff here actually knows what they are doing.
Signing up for your first sanctioned powerlifting meet is one of the most effective ways to accelerate your strength progress. Coach Torres walks through the 12-week structure he uses with every beginner competitor.
Cardiovascular capacity is not just for runners. Coach Kim explains how targeted conditioning work improves recovery between sets, reduces fatigue at the end of long training sessions, and supports consistent performance across a training week.
Most movement restrictions that limit a lifter's squat, deadlift, or press come down to three predictable patterns. Coach Reyes breaks down each one and shares the corrective sequences she programs for members at McLean RSVP Fitness.
